QCT

In contrast to the microCT scanners, our pQCT scanner (Stratec XT 2000L) is used for humans and animals as long as what needs to be scanned is smaller than 14 cm diameter. The highest resolution is 100µm. The pQCT scanner's strength lies in studies of living bone as the measurement dose is very low. This means that the scanner can be used several times for the same person/animal without exceeding the limit of x-ray dose.

Take a look at http://www.stratec-med.com/en/prod_xct2000.php, or visit our lab for a talk about the possiblities of the equipment.
